LIE to Me

If you are interested in the crime drama, but feeling sick to the generic story and same formula.
WE LOVE TV is going to introduce a drama which has an exciting and unexpecting storyline to accompany you this two weeks semester break.

Lie to me is an American crime and police procedural, which explores microexpression such as body language and facial action coding system, reaches the truth by applying psychology.

Dr. Cal Lightman (Tim Roth), a genius body language and microexpression scientist, leads The Lightman Group to assists in the investigation of local and federal law enforcement.  Although his unique personality causes many troubles for the team and his own safety, his God-given talent and characteristic enable him to elaborate and confront the investigation to reach a truth.

Dr. Gillian Foster (Kelli Williams) is also an essential role in The Lightman Group. She is not only a professional psychologist but also one of the Dr. Lightman favorable colleague. She is a team player with a calm and considerate mind to her colleagues. However, for her husband who is suspected cheating on her, she does not let her professional skills to interfere with her marriage. Dr. Foster is smart and tough but with a miserable life who is a representative of some women nowadays.

There are few characters which also play the important roles in the drama;

Ria Torres (left) (Monica Raymund) is the employee of The Lightman Group with a God-given skill in reading people. 
Eli Loker (middle) (Brendan Hines) is also an employee in The Lightman Group, who is smart but his radical honesty which appears rude and undiplomatic. 
Emily Lightman (right) (Hayley McFarland) is Dr. Lightman teenage daughter. She is mature and smart towards her divorced parents. However, she does not appreciate her father's special ability to read her.

The opening scene of the first episode, Dr. Lightman investigated a criminal who just made the police feel struggled with the investigation. Within few minutes, Dr. Lightman easily found the clue from the criminal body reaction via using his ability, which analyses body language and facing action coding system, even though the criminal did not talk at all throughout the investigation.
